Thoughtful, psychology-informed coaching for the moments when life, work, or leadership feel more complicated than clear.
I believe meaningful change often begins with an honest conversation.
Throughout my life and career, I have been drawn to the human side of change.
I have worked with capable, thoughtful people who were carrying a lot: supporting others, solving problems, meeting responsibilities, and continuing to move forward even when the next step was not clear.
I understand that feeling personally, too.
There have been seasons in my own life when the usual answers no longer fit and slowing down felt both necessary and uncomfortable. What I have learned is that clarity rarely comes from pushing harder.
Sometimes, we need space to pause, sort through the noise, and think honestly about what matters most.
A little about my approach…
My approach is thoughtful, practical, and collaborative.
This is a space where you talk, I listen, and together we work through what feels unclear or complicated.
I may ask questions, help you notice patterns, or encourage you to look at a situation from a different perspective. But I am not here to tell you who to be or hand you a one-size-fits-all answer.
The goal is to help you become clearer about what matters most and identify next steps that feel realistic, meaningful, and manageable in your real life
My path to coaching grew from the work I have always been drawn to.
For more than 20 years, my work has centered on helping people and teams navigate challenges, improve systems, and find practical ways forward.
My background in continuous improvement taught me to slow down, ask better questions, look beyond the surface, and understand what may be getting in the way.
Over time, I became increasingly interested in the human side of that work: the competing priorities, the uncertainty, the expectations we carry, and the ways people experience change.
My study of psychology has deepened that interest and given me another lens for understanding leadership, growth, decision-making, and the systems that shape our lives.
Human Condition Coaching brings those parts of my experience together.
“The human condition is not something to fix. It is something to understand. And when we begin to understand it, meaningful change becomes possible.”
— Lisa Reid Founder, Human Condition Coaching
What makes my coaching different?
I do not believe that every challenge requires a dramatic overhaul.
Sometimes the most meaningful change begins with one honest conversation, one clearer boundary, or one thoughtful next step.
You do not need to have everything figured out before we talk. You do not need polished answers or a perfect plan. And you do not need more pressure to become a better version of yourself.
Sometimes, you just need a place to think.
This is a space where you talk, I listen, and together we find a thoughtful way forward.
A few things I believe in...
Compassion First
We do not need to be harder on ourselves in order to grow. Meaningful change is more sustainable when it begins with curiosity, honesty, and kindness.
Honest Conversations
Sometimes the most important step is saying out loud what has been sitting quietly in the background.
Practical Action
Insight matters, but it should also help you move forward. I believe in finding next steps that are meaningful, manageable, and grounded in real life.
A few things about me...
I am endlessly curious about people, ideas, and what helps meaningful change take root.
Outside of work and school, you will often find me spending time with my family, working with my horses, or thinking through my next project.
I am a lifelong learner. I hold a Master of Healthcare Administration and am currently pursuing a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. I am especially interested in leadership, change, and the ways our environments shape how we experience work and life.
I believe growth can be both practical and deeply human.
